As read on thehackernews.com, Facebook has nipped it in the bud over overwhelming concern as to the use of information held by Facebook in the Cambridge Analytica scandal and agreed to pay $ 5,000,000,000 penalty as per the FTC.
This from a company that brought in more than $15,000,000,000 in the first quarter of 2019 alone.
Am I correct that the fine equates to approximately 1 month’s revenue for Facebook?
Will any of the 87 million Facebook users whose information was used get any benefit?
